Hi, welcome to my first blog! I am so excited to start my coaching business. It made me think about what coaching is, and especially what it means to me. And so I thought it would be nice to share, hoping it will give you some insight as well as to what coaching could mean for you :).

Here are some of my thoughts
Coaching increases self-awareness. I can support you in exploring your values, beliefs and motivations. This increased self-awareness can lead to better decision-making and improved self-management.
Coaching is generally non-directive. I ask questions, actively listen, and facilitate your own discovery and problem-solving (rather than providing solutions or advice). I empower you to find solutions to challenges and overcome anything that is in your way.
Coaching is about the person. Taking various aspects of your life into consideration, recognizing how personal and professional domains are interconnected. Coaching supports you in identifying and leveraging your strengths, addressing challenges, and developing new skills. This can lead to improved performance in both personal and professional domains.
Coaching is holistic. I aim to foster overall well-being and fulfillment. Coaching can provide strategies for managing stress and work-life balance. By identifying priorities and establishing boundaries, you can reduce feelings of overwhelm and achieve a greater sense of balance.
Clarity of Goals: Coaching provides a clear sense of direction. This clarity allows you to focus on what truly matters to you.
Coaching enhances Leadership Skills: Leadership coaching is particularly beneficial for executives and other leaders. It helps you refine your leadership style, improve communication with your team(s), and develop the skills necessary for effective leadership.
Coaching is a collaboration between coach and client
I do find it important to note that the benefits of coaching may vary, depending on your commitment to the process and the goals you are working towards. The effectiveness is based on the collaborating and the personal nature of the relationship between coach and client.
I am curious to your thoughts, feel free to leave a comment!
